Maker of BIDI® Stick to tout new packaging, distribution partnerships for convenience retailers
MELBOURNE, Fla.
– The maker of the top-selling BIDI® Stick disposable vape device announced its attendance as an exhibitor at the NACS Show in Atlanta, October 3-6, 2023, touting new product packaging and partnerships with two major convenience-channel distributors meant to simplify access and supply to thousands of convenience retailers.
Each year, the NACS Show offers retailers the chance to view thousands of products and attend dozens of top-notch education sessions led by industry thought leaders, with the goal of receiving actionable takeaways. In addition, retailers walking through the Georgia World Congress Center will receive valuable learning experiences through networking opportunities with more than 20,000 attendees.
For Bidi Vapor, its new distribution partnerships give the vaping company access to over 100 distribution centers, which deliver food, merchandise and related products to more than 200,000 locations.
“Our new partnerships will simplify access to Bidi Vapor products for thousands of convenience retailers,” said Russell Quick, president of Kaival Marketing Services, the marketing operation for Melbourne, Fla.-based Bidi Vapor, LLC. “We welcome all retailers within both networks to partner with us to bring a premium vaping experience to adult smokers, 21 and older.”

News of the partnerships follows the announcement of renewed distribution through the Laval, Quebec-based Circle K convenience-store chain, as well as new distribution through two major regional operators, Kwik Trip, La Cross, Wis., and MAPCO, Franklin, Tenn. This past June, Kaival Brands Innovations Group, Grant-Valkaria, Fla., Bidi Vapor’s main U.S. distributor, announced the activation and initial shipment of BIDI® Sticks to over 1,000 Circle K locations, with a ramp up to 5,000 locations planned for the remainder of this year within the South Atlantic and Midwest regions of the United States. Soon after, the company announced the additions of Kwik Trip and MAPCO.
With New York-based Nielsen ranking BIDI® Stick as the top-selling disposable for three years, retailers have access to one of the few remaining vape companies that can legitimately sell flavored products. Currently, all of Bidi Vapor’s 11 flavored BIDI® Stick devices are in scientific review with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). While the company did receive marketing denial orders (MDOs) for its non-tobacco flavored product applications in September 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit set aside the MDOs in August 2022 for being arbitrary and capricious, in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act. As a result, Bidi Vapor can still market and sell its products during the application review period, subject to FDA enforcement discretion.
BIDI® Sticks were the focus of a recently published study that showed use by youth aged 13-20 was almost nonexistent.
“We firmly believe Bidi Vapor products will be an important tool to ensure a smoke-free future,” said Niraj Patel, founder and CEO of Bidi Vapor. “And we believe science will prove our products appropriate for the protection of the public health, as we mitigate the youth-vaping concern while offering adult smokers a viable option to combustible cigarettes.”
